For the bicycle lovers, it has also to be underlined that every year in Gaiole in Chianti it takes place the beautiful and historic race called “Eroica” . This race is touristic and you can also find epoch bicycle , it is mostly on dug up roads. It is a display that creates an environment and scenes of the pre-war period cycling , dust or mud, no assistance ,epoch refreshment , road are as beautiful as difficult , it needs a great spirito f sacrifice and adaptability. The route of the “L’Eroica" goes through some of the more beatiful roads of the Chianti shire in Siena area, of the Valdarbia and of the Valdorcia; but the clou is represented by the dug up roads that are still existing which allow to live again the atmosphere of the epoch cycling .

For the trekking and nordic walking lovers, we highlight the fact that L’Ultimo Mulino is located in naturalistic routes which ,through vineyards and olive-groves , lead to small neighbouring villages , as for example the path that from the hotel brings to Villa Vistarenni, from where you can enjoy a unique sight , due to the Chianti hills and the characteristic village of Radda in Chianti.
